About Us

Our Life Rhythms

We encourage you to create an intentional weekly and monthly rhythm centered around the person of God, with the people of God, that honors your limitations as a human. All of our rhythms can be broken down into these four categories:

Be with Jesus, Become Like Jesus, Do what Jesus did, With one another.

  • We believe that each gathering is an opportunity to encounter the Living God. It's not simply about attending; it’s about engaging in a relationship that transforms us. At Franklin Chapel, we integrate rhythms of seeking God into our lives, making it a natural part of our daily existence. Our worship, our prayers, and our fellowship are all avenues through which we experience His presence and guidance.

As God moves we respond and are transformed by his spirit to seek him further.

  • We want to follow in the ways of Jesus. We will emphasize spiritual disciplines like praying, scripture, fasting, sabbath, giving, solitude, and more

  • We believe one of our jobs as Jesus followers is to build the Kingdom of God which means join God in healing, restoring and reclaiming all that is broken. We commit to caring for those in need and sharing the Gospel.

  • We realize that God designed us to live in authentic community with one another. We strive at Franklin Chapel to seek God, grow in our faith, and reach our world through living life together.

Our Beliefs

What comes into our minds
when we think about God is the most important thing about us.

Our Story

Franklin Chapel held its first worship service on July 21st, 2024. Lead Pastor Tyler Harting and a core group came out of the United Methodist Church with the vision to plant a new church in Franklin, KY. Franklin Chapel values its Methodist heritage which was a movement started by John Wesley out of the Anglican Church in the 18th century.

What marked Methodists were their commitment to spiritual formation, scriptural holiness, the movement of the Holy Spirit, God’s grace, and their mission to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the whole world. These are the very things that Franklin Chapel is embracing at its core.

Franklin Chapel is an independent church with a Wesleyan emphasis. We welcome people of all church backgrounds and traditions as we look to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
